There are also many government benefits that are income tested, meaning that as your income increases, the amount of the benefit you receive decreases. $98,560 to $113,158 10.5% Provincial Tax => Change in rate (+2.8%)
$113,158 to $137,407 12.3% Provincial Tax => Change in rate (+1.8%)
$137,407 to $186,306 14.7% Provincial Tax => Change in rate (+2.4%)
$186,306 to $259,829 16.8% Provincial Tax => Change in rate (+2.1%)
$259,829 and above 20.5% Provincial Tax => Change in rate (+3.7%)
