There are also many government benefits that are income tested, meaning that as your income increases, the amount of the benefit you receive decreases. $120,094 to $162,832 14.7% Provincial Tax => Change in rate (+2.4%)
$162,832 to $227,091 16.8% Provincial Tax => Change in rate (+2.1%)
$227,091 and above 20.5% Provincial Tax => Change in rate (+3.7%)
